
Interface requirements
I designed compact lighting controls for APOLO OS, prioritizing legible settings and direct access to adjustments.
The interface groups intensity, color, and mode controls around familiar tasks in a DMX · Digital MultiplexDMX is the shared control language used by lighting equipment. An operator might change brightness or color on the screen; the system sends the corresponding values to the light. Visual hierarchy
Contrast, type size, and icons distinguish active controls. The current mode and parameter remain visible during adjustment.


Controls cover brightness, color temperature, and the fixture's individual color channels.


Modes and settings use a layered structure, with presets and quick access for repeated adjustments. Live feedback shows the current state.


Reusable patterns allow additional features to follow the same interaction rules.
